  • Grater or kitchen processor
  • Precision scale to weigh quantities.
  • 75g of natural soap based on essential oils
  • 1 glass of baking soda.
  • 1.5 l of water
  • A 2-liter container to store the homemade detergent.
  • 20 drops of scented essential oil, lavender, rosehip, or other.

    Preparation

    • Grate the bar of natural soap
    • Place inside the container
    • Then add the  baking soda
    • Heat the liter and a half of water until it boils
    • Pour little by little, shake the bottle from time to time so that the ingredients are integrated
    • Once mixed, add the 20 drops of essential oil.

    After a week you will see that the texture of the detergent will have changed, but it can be used without problems until finished.

    The amount of detergent that you should put in the washing machine is the same that you normally use with industrial soap.
