Have you ever been to eat at Olive Garden? This chain of restaurants serves Italian and North American dishes and has locations in different countries. They have a menu for all tastes, among which the Olive Garden salad or “from the house” as it is popularly said stand out.

Olive Garden Salad Recipe

The key to this salad is not so much the vegetables … but the secret dressing! Well it is not so secret because they have discovered it and published it in several blogs.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ tablespoon garlic salt
  • 2 ½ tablespoons sugar
  • ½ tablespoon of water
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon dried parsley
  • ½ tablespoon Italian seasoning

  • You are going to prepare the dressing first. To do this, add the mayonnaise, white vinegar, lemon juice, water and olive oil to a large container. Then mix everything well. Now is the time to add the dry ingredients. These are the sugar, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, parsley, and garlic salt. Integrate everything and then pour into a jar with a tight lid. Then take it to the fridge.
  • Second, prepare the salad. In a bowl, make a mattress with the washed romaine lettuce leaves. Next, chop the onion, cut the tomatoes and place them on top. Then add the peppermint and black olives. Finally, add the grated Parmesan cheese and croutons. Next, remove the dressing from the fridge and sprinkle on top. Finally, mix everything and voila… Let’s eat Olive Garden salad!
