Soy

Soy is one of the best foods to consume during menopause. Its properties – and one of its derivatives, lecithin – favor the health of women in this cycle in different ways. Linden infusion

How to do it?

Chop the celery and lemon, without removing the peel but without the ends. Place the sage, lemon and celery in a pot with water, boiling for 10 minutes. Once it is ready, let it rest for another 10 minutes, strain it and drink at least three glasses during the day.

Other tips for sweating during menopause

  • Try to wear comfortable clothes made of natural fiber such as cotton, linen, among others. Even if it is possible, the sheets should also be in these types of materials
  • Keep the spaces of the house ventilated
  • Avoid visiting very humid or very hot places, as these places can promote the appearance of heat and sweating
  • When you feel sweating and heat, it is good to wrap some ice cubes in a cloth and gently pass them on the neck, without applying directly
  • Perform a body massage a week using lavender essential oil, as it helps balance the body
  • Drink at least two liters of water a day, preferably with ice to make it more refreshing
  • Perform at least 30 minutes of daily exercises, such as walking, running, swimming, among others
  • Avoid overeating foods such as coffee, energy drinks, or any beverage that contains caffeine. You should also reduce the consumption of fatty foods, dairy, spices and spicy foods
  • Keep your weight balanced, as being overweight and obese make you more prone to excessively sweating and hot flashes
  • Take a warm bath before going to bed to feel cooler and sleep better
