It is undoubtedly the main symptom. It usually appears, especially, in the lower part of the abdomen and towards both or only one side.

Therefore, we must therefore be attentive to those periods in which we feel bad emotionally. You don’t have to have an organic problem to suffer pain. E n times fatigue; A bad diet; worries or anxiety can take a toll on our bodies. Hence, it is essential to properly manage our emotions.

How can I treat irritable bowel?

During those periods in which we suffer from irritable bowel, it is recommended that we follow the following guidelines:

  • Avoid acidic foods, such as coffee or soda.
  • Be careful with sweets and all those foods with refined flours.
  • Reduce your gluten intake, as it could aggravate it. This research from the Complutense University affirms that this food could be related to a multitude of non-celiac pathologies, although studies are still needed in this regard.
  • Eat little, but several times a day.  Remember to chew well.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Increase your intake of probiotics, as  long as you don’t have any related intolerances.
  • When it comes to infusions, try lavender as it is relaxing.
